With 100.000 readers worldwide and over 36 distributers in over 70 countries and with a print-run of 38,000, Lürzer's Archive is now probably the world’s most international publishing company – despite the fact that, as a business publisher, Lürzer's Archive “only” develops and distributes products in the field of advertising, photography, and graphic design. Yet it is not only our worldwide network but also our many years of experience that have made us so successful: last year, in fact, we celebrated our 25th anniversary.

It all began with the idea of advertising copywriter Walter Lürzer. His consistent aim was to create advertising campaigns of an international standard. To do so, however, he first had to be familiar with the best work being done worldwide. Searching for the work proved to be both time-consuming and nerve-racking, and so he said to himself: If nobody else is going to do this job for me, then I guess I’ll have to do it for the others. And, by 1984, he had done so: the first issue of Lürzer's Archive appeared, showcasing exceptional ad campaigns from around the world. The response was overwhelming. The same year saw the publication of the first US edition, and other countries followed. Similarly, other products also soon saw the light of day. These included two Specials, each numbering over 170 pages, on the subject of Packaging Design, with a print-run of 10,000 and 15,000, which are now out of print.

Now, for the very first time, we shall be publishing the Lürzer's Archive Special 200 Best: Direct Marketing

Do not miss out on the chance to be featured in this very first issue!

Specials published in the 200 Best series are more than just books. They are competitions staged at the very highest level of international performance, and serve to acquire new clients and to retain existing ones.
How that works? Well, by virtue of the fact that we deliver the finished product to both your clients and prospective new customers. Everyone whose work appears in a Lürzer's Archive 200 Best title is invited to name 15 addresses to which a free copy of the respective title should be sent. As a result, your work will ultimately be seen by 3,000 potential clients. And this type of advertising is not in fact advertising but actually a recommendation made by a top-notch jury. Yet that is not all: 17,000 copies are also marketed worldwide through selected bookstores at a price of €29.50 per copy. As such, both advertising impact and overall exposure will live on far beyond the actual publication date.

Simply submit your best work for free. The next issue will not appear for another two years.

How to become one of the 200 Best:

1. Send pictures of your best direct marketing work to
http://www.luerzersarchive.net/submission.asp
2. A top-notch jury will select the 200 Best from all work submitted!
3. If you are among those nominated, you can have your work published in return for

Showcase on our website, enabling you to publish your entire portfolio for an unlimited
